Description

The Physiomed Tilt Table is an essential piece of equipment for any clinic treating neurological conditions, spinal cord injuries, acquired brain injuries, orthostatic hypotension, or prolonged bed rest. It allows a patient who cannot yet stand independently to be progressively brought toward vertical — in controlled, measurable increments — stimulating cardiovascular regulation, weight-bearing through the lower limbs, and facilitating the physiological adaptations needed to return to standing.

Motorised tilt to +85° is controlled by hand switch, allowing the therapist to precisely control the rate and degree of inclination while monitoring the patient's response. A narrowed leg section with integrated strap rail holds multiple patient safety straps to prevent sliding. Individually adjustable foot plates (-10° to +20°) accommodate different ankle ranges and can be adjusted during tilting to maintain optimal foot position.

The included activity tray provides a stable surface for upper limb tasks, cognitive activities, or tablet-based exercise programs during standing — maximising the therapeutic value of each Physiomed tilt session. The head section includes a face hole and adjusts to +75° via gas-operated strut for additional patient comfort.

Electric height adjustment from 59–104 cm (the highest table height in the Physiomed range) allows easy patient transfer from wheelchair or bed. Retractable castors enable repositioning without disturbing the patient. Certified CE, FDA, and ISO 13485:2016.
