BTS FREE EMG 1000 — Wireless EMG System
The most advanced wireless EMG unit in the world. BTS FREE EMG 1000 uses up to 20 miniaturised wireless probes weighing just 13 grams each — delivering real-time surface EMG and motion analysis with complete freedom of movement in any environment.
Description
BTS FREE EMG 1000 is a wireless device for surface electromyography (EMG) analysis, enabling dynamic assessment of muscle activity and biofeedback in any environment — from the clinic to the sports field. The system covers the full spectrum from monitoring to diagnostics and injury prevention, across research, sports, occupational medicine, gnathology, neurology and orthopaedics.
Entirely based on wireless technology, BTS FREE EMG 1000 uses up to 20 miniaturised probes with active electrodes to acquire and transmit EMG signals, joint angles, speed, acceleration and pressure in real time. The complete absence of wires reduces patient distress during preparation and grants full range of motion during task execution — the probes' variable geometry and minimal size allow placement on any body segment during any type of movement (walk, run, jump) without affecting the motor pattern.
Probes amplify and digitise signals on board, transmitting wirelessly to the USB receiver connected to the workstation. An on-board solid-state buffer memory protects data in case of wireless signal interruption, and eco-friendly rechargeable lithium-ion polymer batteries provide over 6 hours of continuous recording per charge. An H2O waterproof version (IP58) is available for aquatic and high-perspiration environments.
The included BTS EMG-Analyzer software is the most complete solution for EMG signal analysis — with predefined protocols for clinic, sport and research including gait, jump, plyometry, fatigue analysis and isokinetics, plus a graphic interface for building custom protocols and reports.
Compatible with HUMAC NORM, BIODEX, CYBEX and CON-TREX for integrated isokinetic and EMG testing. Integrates with BTS inertial sensors and motion capture systems. Made in Italy — BTS Bioengineering.
