    BTS P-6000 Digital Force Plate

Triaxial platforms for 3D force measurement — the hardware at the heart of the BTS PODIUM system. Measure and visualise ground reaction forces, centre of pressure, and torque in real time for performance, injury prevention, and rehabilitation.

    Description

The BTS P-6000 is a completely digital triaxial force plate system, engineered by BTS Bioengineering in Italy. Equipped with patent-pending Accusphere strain gauge sensors (4 per module), the P-6000 delivers highly accurate measurement of force components, reaction moments, and Centre of Pressure coordinates across the full platform surface — including edges — making it suitable for walking, running, and explosive jumping analyses.

The P-6000's modular architecture allows plates to be combined into customisable surface shapes and sizes, with adjacent modules seamlessly integrated as one continuous measurement surface. Its completely digital architecture ensures signal integrity from sensor to software with no analogue conversion loss.

As the hardware foundation of the BTS PODIUM system, the P-6000 works together with the BTS BRAIN processor and BTS AURA EVO COLOR CAM cameras to deliver a complete real-time biomechanical evaluation platform. PODIUM measures and visualises 3D force vectors in real time, with AI-powered markerless motion capture overlaid on live video — functioning as an augmented reality biomechanics mirror for athletes, coaches, and clinicians.

PODIUM analysis protocols cover five clinical and performance domains: Performance Improvement (power output, explosive strength), Posture & Balance (core stability, equilibrium), Injury Prevention (asymmetry and abnormal loading detection), Return to Sport (objective readmission assessment), and Functional Training (sport-specific movement analysis). Advanced inverse dynamics algorithms compute joint moments and powers automatically.

Configuration options range from Standard (2 plates) to 3D (6 cameras) and Lab (8 cameras, 4 plates). Made in Italy. Trusted by elite sports institutes, hospitals, and research facilities worldwide.
