A quality clinical stool is one of the most-used — and most overlooked — pieces of equipment in a physiotherapy practice. Poor seating during treatment contributes directly to practitioner fatigue, back pain, and long-term musculoskeletal injury. Physiomed's gas lift stool range is built to protect the clinician for the long haul.
The Physiomed clinical stool range covers two seat profiles to suit different treatment styles and body types:
**Physiomed Round Stool** — A traditional circular seat (35 cm diameter) with 5–6 cm foam padding. Gas lift height adjustment from 51–72 cm depending on model. The premium Physiomed model includes a height-adjustable foot ring for full ergonomic support. The backrest model adds an independently adjustable, angle-tiltable backrest (25° of adjustment) for lumbar support during prolonged seated work.
**Physiomed Saddle Stool** — The saddle seat (42 cm wide) encourages a more open hip angle and forward pelvic tilt, reducing lumbar strain during treatment. With a seat angle adjustment of -3° to +6°, clinicians can fine-tune their pelvic position for different techniques. The backrest model includes a height and angle-adjustable lumbar support.
All Physiomed stool models: 160 kg weight capacity, five-star base for stability, and pneumatic gas lift for smooth height adjustment. Available in Navy Blue, Black, and Grey to match your Physiomed treatment table and clinic colour scheme. CE certified.
