The Physiomed Five Section Treatment Couch with Postural Drainage (Model ET52) is the clinical workhorse for physiotherapists who require maximum patient positioning versatility in a single table. Its defining feature — motorised postural drainage at +25 degrees — enables gravity-assisted airway clearance techniques without manual repositioning or additional equipment, making it the preferred Physiomed table for respiratory physiotherapy alongside general musculoskeletal practice.
Five independently adjustable sections give the clinician precise control over head, back, mid, leg, and foot positioning. The backrest elevates to +70° via gas strut for seated exercise and assessment; the headrest adjusts from -35° to +70° to support prone, supine, and inclined positioning. A face hole and plug are standard in every Physiomed headrest, ensuring comfortable prone positioning for soft-tissue therapy, dry needling, and cervical treatment.
Electric hi-lo height adjustment via footswitch spans 50 cm to 96 cm — an exceptional 46 cm travel range that accommodates patients from standing transfers to floor-level exercise, and suits clinicians of all heights. Height-adjustable padded armrests provide additional patient support during seated treatment, while 7.5 cm retractable castors with rounded safety frame legs allow safe repositioning between bays.
